The Package
Join us for an unforgettable Freedom Paddle race experience. Your host will be former Freedom Paddle winner Jasper Mocke. With his expert guidance & coaching you’ll maximise your race weekend.
You will paddle the start and finish of the race course and receive invaluable tips on strategy, paddling as a crew and race lines in preparation for the event. On alternate days you will explore the Cape Peninsula taking full advantage of the best conditions. We will go downwind on the Miller’s Run or other routes if the conditions allow. All your surfski logistics will be covered.

The paddling
Cape Town at its best!
On non-racedays we will take advantage of the best routes and conditions the Cape Peninsula has to offer. If there is wind we will go downwind!
We’ll meet up at a certain spot. The double Surfski’s will be loaded and we will take care of all the admin. Just bring your paddles. partner and gees for some great paddling.
Itinerary
of your trip
Meet and greet at 13:00 for an afternoon session on the Cape Peninsula. Boat setup and 1hr paddle. Venue TBC
Meet at Oceana at 10:00 for a 10km out and back paddle on the racecourse with some pro race tips and briefing on expectations for race day conditions. Finalise boat setup to make sure both paddlers are ready and comfortable for the race.
Race day! Your surfski will be there ready to go. Last minute tips and advice.
Meet at 10:00 for a Cape Peninsula paddle. Venue TBC
